The Creek FM
100.9 The Creek (WNEX FM) was launched in 2016 and was immediate hit. Playing Americana, roots, and leaning in on Macon’s historic musical canon, The Creek has gained respect worldwide as one of the best in American roots music. In fact, The Creek is considered a pioneer as one of only a handful of commercial, hits-based Americana stations in the country. The Creek is owned and operated by partners Wes Griffith and Rob Evans.
Capricorn Sound Studios and Museum
The home of Capricorn Records, Capricorn Sound Studios, was renovated and reborn as Mercer Music and Capricorn in December of 2019. Mercer University spearheaded the expansive project, which includes a music incubator, a museum, co-working spaces, class rooms, conference spaces, a restored historic studio A and the addition of a second studio. Wes and Creek partner Rob Evans operate and manage the studios and museum in partnership with Mercer University.
